With the latest findings from medicine, sports science and neurobiology, we will get to the bottom of the energy work in yoga. This makes it possible to control the practice in a more targeted, condensed and yet more intensive way.
After this workshop, you will be able to better understand your practice and adapt it to your needs.
In this guided morning meditation you will connect with your intention for the weekend. This meditation will help you to really land in the here and now, connect with your essence and align your energy for the weekend so that you can receive and experience exactly what you need during these days. Whether you already have a regular meditation practice or not, it's for everyone.
The early bird catches the worm
A flowing and gentle practice with strengthening and relaxing elements. We will prepare our bodies, minds and hearts for the day. You will recognize aspects of Kundalini, Hatha and Yin.
Practice innovation
This workshop will focus on a very efficient way to practice to evolve faster, avoid injuries, and understand the main transversal empowerment points and also some defaults points when we practice.
Earth Yoga Flow with Sandra
We will move through a strengthening and powerful flow connecting to the land, the mountains and the great Earth that holds us all. We will focus on the first 3 chakras - root, pelvis and core to feel centered, strong and honoring our connection to Earth. The flow will be creative and with a sense of freedom even though it is earthbound.
This practice will be a powerful and holistic way to enter into the festival.

This workshop will give you a deeper understanding of how your brain works and how you got to where you are now. If you feel like kicking off the Festival strong and powerful, this class takes you through a series of poses at a steady pace, connecting breath and movement. Explore full body strength, flexibility, fluidity and stamina; and enjoy the opportunity of making the flow your own with plenty of options to take your practice up a notch or slow it down for a more grounding experience.

Energetic Essence
True to the theme of this year's Mountain Yoga Festival we will be exploring Energetic Essence inside and outside of ourselves. The first 45 minutes of the Vinyasa Flow practice will be dedicated to empowering movement that is very grounding and anchoring, connecting deeply with a sense of place and inner wellbeing. Building on this, the last 30 minute of the practice will be dedicated to deep stretches and profound rest allowing us to connect deeply with our internal energy.
Yoga is a Gentle Art
A well-rounded vinyasa class, toward the gentle side, plus meditation, and deep relaxation. I can still hear my teacher Swami Bua (who lived to be 116 years old) saying, “Do not struggle! Yoga is a gentle art.”
Self-love and serenity
In this session we start with a Yin Yoga session and the functional circuits kidney and liver. While you relax deeply, I will guide you through a Yoga Nidra in the second part, which will help you to connect with your subconscious and manifest a new belief system.
Yin, Grace and Poetry. 04.00 - 05.00 pm
This first practice of YIN will focus on our deep connection we all share with Mother Earth and the grounding effect that arise when we feel truly connected with ourselves and earth. This session will focus on our sense of belonging and ability to hold ourselves when the ground is shaking. Hips, legs and shoulders. Poetry connected to belonging, interconnection and tapping into our own way to settle into stillness for clarity.
Meditation, 05.00 - 06.00 pm

This power is our energetic essence. And it is creative, evolutionary and transformative.
My intention for my classes is to teach students informal ways to get in touch with their energetic power and use it for meditation.
Myth and Mantra
Come join a sweet class with myths of yoga and Mantras. This class will be presented and experienced in a clear and accessible way. Not only we will breakdown the myth, but also contextualise with the Gods of the tradition and the mantra used to celebrate that energy that is inside of us.

Morning Flow
This class will be a great class to start the day. It will be fluid and sweet class with an evolving theme and sequence.
The yoga session mid hike will focus on stretching the legs and lower back, yet also bring some strengthening elements for the rest of the hike. Enough time will be dedicated to breathwork and getting the most out of practicing in the fresh mountain air.
Heart Qualities
What separates you from your aliveness? Let your inner light shine by creating more openness in your heart space. Using effective breathing techniques, strengthening your core, and mobilizing your chest and spine, meet your heart with loving kindness and compassion.
Spread your Wings
During this flow practice we will focus on the full range of movement in the shoulders and the arms and how to use them both for support but also for freedom. There will be some earthbound arm balances and a real sense of freedom. Strength and freedom of heart, shoulders and upper body.

We connect our energy centers. The chakras are 7 main energy centers located along the spine. Each chakra has its meaning, purpose and ESSENCE - together they form an energy system in our body. We will stimulate the energy flow so that the prana can flow through the whole system to create balance in the body, mind and spirit.
Energy Boost Camp III - How do I create relationships and how can I bring more fulfillment into my relationships through better communication?
How do I create relationships? Why self-responsibility is the core of a living relationship? Why do I always get upset about the same issue or the same person? How can I take my relationships to a higher level? During the workshop, a person can be coached by me on a relationship issue that is currently bothering them in the form of 'laser coaching' (short, crisp coaching of max. 30 minutes with immediate solutions).

Extract the nectar of the practice
This class will focus on the experience of extracting nectar out of the practice with some hip openers, twists, and light inversions.
Our Sun Center Chakra
This afternoon's focus is on our core, energetic home of our physical body, the divine center from which everything originates, the seat of our essence and true self, the internal sunshine. We will be focusing on our abdominal area and the digestive system and how we can physically, mentally and emotionally activate that powerhouse in our lives on and off the mat. Yoga flow, breathing practice, and meditation.
Energy Boost Camp IV - Because I am WORTH it! Create your code of honor, recognize your needs, uncover value conflicts
What you can expect in this workshop:
- Clear values: you will identify your personal values and create your own code of values.
- Dealing with conflicts of values: You will learn how to deal constructively with conflicts between your values.
- Self-reflection: Together we will explore questions such as “What lazy compromises am I making and what am I sacrificing for them?”
- Needs and values: You will learn how your values reflect your needs and how you can use this in your everyday life.
We “coach ourselves into clarity” - a technique that shows you which of your needs and values are being violated, especially in situations that keep triggering you, so that you can “act differently” in future.
Relax and Recover
Now is a great time for relaxing restorative poses, calming breathwork, meditation, extra-long savasana. I will end the session with a demonstration of overtone chant
For a good gut feeling
Targeted gentle yoga asanas support the agni (digestive fire) and stimulate the metabolism so that tension can be released all by itself. Not only the intestines are supported, but also the liver and kidneys - everything that plays an important role in our detoxification. Finally, there is a guided deep relaxation - abdominal hypnosis.
Body awareness
In this relaxed after-lunch workshop, deepen your movement know-how and learn simple hands-on assists to support yourself and others in basic yoga poses. A vibrant mix of functional yoga, bodywork, and a sense of community.
Manifest your heart's desire
In this session, we will focus on the functional circuits of the lungs and heart in the calm Yin Yoga session and then move into dynamic sleep (Yoga Nidra), in which you activate your self-healing powers and manifest your heart's desire.
TCM meets Yin Yoga
A deeply introspective practice in which we cultivate calmness and stillness in the body (Yin) to train an alert and focused mind (Yang), with inputs from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), such as meridian flows and acupressure points.

This practice will focus on the area around your heart, the cave of your heart. We will focus on longer holds for both the front and the back of your heart, deep release for the upper body and neck. There will also be some poetry around the theme of the heart.

In “Easy but deep” we go through a regenerative practice that gives you back strength and at the same time goes deep. Little effort with a lot of effect.
Energy Boost Camp V - Work&Flow - How can I consciously create flow states?
In this workshop you will learn why it is so difficult to establish new habits and how you can consciously create flow states. These states allow you more freedom, joy, effectiveness and success (according to your own definition of success). We conclude the workshop with a dynamic yoga session.
Start your day in silence with a guided meditation in the morning. According to the festival theme your yoga teacher or expert will prepare a nice way to start into the day.
Yoga sessions will be on the schedule for beginners, intermediate and advanced yogis with teachers coming from all over the world, offering different yoga styles and levels. Yoga language: English/German.
Hiking in the middle of and on mindblowing mountains, to feel the power of nature and to breath in the fresh mountain air. We are offering hikes with experienced guides showing you the beauty of this part of the world.
